Video Workshop

Hi, my name is Steve Fisher. Some of you may recognize me from around campus. I worked in undergraduate admissions for 5 years, and for the last few have been in adult and graduate recruitment. My other life is as co-owner of High Street Marketing Company, a digital marketing and film production agency. Filmmaking has always been a passion of mine, and I'm excited to share some tricks of the trade with you.

The Chaplain's office has received a grant from Calvin College to facilitate worship in chapel through the use of video. This grant includes the purchase of video equipment. For those interested, I will show you how to use the equipment and some other free or cheap resources you can use to create excellent videos. We will go through every step of the filming process to completion, editing, and export.

Below are some great resources for video. Software, apps, equipment ideas, and tutorials. The specifics for equipment are for the items owned by the Chaplain's office, but you will still find the information helpful and applicable to whatever equipment you use.
