Jenna is a proud word nerd. She finds genuine joy in learning new grammar rules, and she anxiously awaits announcements of the latest stylebook changes. She’s madly in love with the Oxford comma (but not to worry—she won’t use it in your blogs if you don’t want her to). She knows the difference between who and whom, her iPhone apps are grammar games, and she has a favorite punctuation mark. Starting to get the idea?
For Jenna, writing and reading go hand-in-hand—which is why she couldn’t choose just one major in college. She earned her bachelor’s degree in both Communication and English from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York (where she also met her husband, Steve).
Having spent the better part of a decade as the Director of Marketing, Publicity, and Production for a Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award-winning publisher—writing and editing descriptive copy for book covers, national press releases, social media updates, and more blogs than she can count—she also co-founded a video marketing company, for which she's written scripts, website content, and (of course) blogs. She has won numerous email marketing awards for her work for small businesses and non-profits.
For years, her heart—and experience—has been driven by helping small businesses and non-profits become strong, thriving competitors in today's marketplace through outstanding content writing. She knows the tremendous value of the written word, and she's not afraid to use it.
